My name is David Flowers, I have been in the hospitality business for over 40 years. I have been an executive Chef on motor yachts for the last 23 years. Originally I started Culinarycompassconnection to get Chefs through the beginning stages in order to cook on Motor Yachts. But after 23 years of working in the yachting business I want to help anybody interested in yachting (CHEF, STEWERDESS/STEWERD, DECKHAND OR ENGINEER). The yachting industry is always looking for young enthusiastic individuals.
I did restaurants for 20 plus years before I was introduced to the yachting industry. I had no idea what STCW was, I was informed to show up at a certain place at a certain time. It was definitely eye opening all the things I had to learn on the run.
That is why I started Culinarycompassconnection. We will do all the leg work so you can enjoy your course and start your new career.
Yachting is an amazing experience where else can u travel for free, get paid and all your expenses are taken care of.
